I'M BEING PUBLISHED!

I can't believe it! I just got an email from Memory Makers saying that they have accepted my work for their upcoming "Big Book of Scrapbook Ideas"! Woo Hoo! It's my first!! I will know more details next week:)

Oh it feels like it's been forever since I last posted! I have been so crazy busy with hubby, kids, work, Sketch Inspiration, and just LIFE in general...that I have failed to keep up here.

I wanted to show you a quick layout I did this week of my little man. This is from a Liz Qualman sketch. She has some great sketches over there for those of you who are like me and can't seem to have enough of them!! Thanks for looking and don't give up on me:) I'm here, just trying to catch my breath! a Happy and safe new year. Today is my little boy's 6th birthday. I can't believe he is already 6. Seems like only yesterday I was spending New Year's Eve in the hospital gazing at his precious new face for the very first time. I knew right then that my New Year's celebrations would always consist of celebrating his life. I took it a step further and made it a point to reflect on the blessings in my life. I've challenged myself to see this day - and everyday - as a gift. I pray you will also choose to see life as a gift, and not so much for yourself, but for others. A gift...meant to be given away.

I borrowed my daughter's bee wings and antennas and then I duck taped a yellow shirt. LOL! Hey, when you only have 20 minutes before school to throw something together, that's what happens!
